It is organized by the Codman Square Neighborhood Council, BOLD Teens and the Codman Square Health Center.
The Dorchester Winter Farmers Market (DWFM) is the only winter market in Dorchester and is a great place to buy farm fresh food, baked goods, meat, fish specialty foods from local producers, art, and handmade goods.
Our History
Originally organized by the Codman Square Health Center and the Dorchester Community Food Co-Op in 2013, it became Dorchester’s only winter farmers market.
A partnership between the Codman Square Neighborhood Council, BOLD Teens and the Codman Square Health Center has operated the Dorchester Winter Farmers Market since 2015 with a focus on making fresh, locally-grown food accessible to residents of Dorchester, while supporting the local economy.
